Day 1A of GGPoker’s WSOP Main Event Concludes with 62 players moving forward

After it was announced that the WSOP Main Event was going to take place this year, players were ready. While the United States section has not started yet, the international portion of the event is underway. The 2020 WSOP $10,000 Freezeout Main Event just finished up the starting day at GGPoker with 246 players competing. A total of 62 individuals will move on to Day 2. The site will have two other starting days on December 5 and 6.

Day 1A Details

Day 1A concluded with Julian “VWgunther” Menhardt leading the pack. สล็อต777 He is the only player to end the day with over 500,000 in chips. He then knocked out Ami Barer which helped his stack. In a close second is Paul Esau with 475,075 in chips.

Other notable players are still in the mix including Michal Lubas, Ilya Anatsky, Espen Jorstad, Sosia Jiang and Lauryinas Levinskas. Anatoly Filatov, Alexandros Theologis, and Brunno Botteon also made it to Day 2.

After the remaining starting days take place, Day 2 will begin on December 7. For now, players can still work their way into the Main Event at GGPoker as there are plenty of satellites taking place. Once the final table has been decided for the Main Event, players will travel to King’s Casino to see who will win. The winner will then head to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino to take on the WSOP.com winner to see who will be named the 2020 WSOP Main Event champion!

WSOP.com Event Details

While the international side has already kicked off, WSOP.com will not begin its Main Event action until December 13. Players located in Nevada and New Jersey can take part. The online poker event will battle down until the final nine and then the final table will take place live at the Rio.

The winner of the heads-up round at the Rio will win a WSOP gold bracelet and an additional $1 million. And of course, claim the title of champion!
